Major nearby parks include the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, Appalachian Trail, Fall Creek State Park and Falls Creek National Wildlife Refuge.
Hikers will want to scale Kennesaw Mountain in northern Cobb County and explore the network of trails in surrounding parks. If you have little time, you can concentrate on driving against the wind, but if not, head north to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.
